Austin Peterson is the President of Belong and a key contributor to the Gatherings curriculum, developed alongside Clare Dalton. With a rich history of working with youth in various capacities—including as a teacher, FSY leader, bishopric member, and organizer for Gather for Youth 2024—Austin brings both personal experience and professional expertise to his work.

Clare Dalton is passionate about creating a safe space for everyone at the intersection of LGBTQIA+ and spirituality. When she came out as gay in 2021, Clare worked for the next two years to navigate her faith and her orientation within her career with Seminary and Institutes for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to show her colleagues, her students, and local families that when Christ told everyone to, “Come, follow me,” He really meant it.

Jeff Case is a clinical psychologist who specializes in trauma and suicide. He is a Veteran of the US Army and currently works with military Veterans in his professional practice. He identifies as gay and has been married for 27 years in a mixed-orientation marriage. He and his wife have three adult children, two of whom also identify as LGBTQ. He and his family live in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He is a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Sarah is a middle school teacher in Utah who is deeply committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported. She is the mother of three adult children, two of whom identify as LGBTQ+. This experience has inspired Sarah to become a dedicated ally, striving to educate herself and others about the importance of love, acceptance, and equality. Sarah is an active member of the Mama Dragons, an online community of mothers who support LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

Terri Pratt is a therapist with Neurodiverse Counseling and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling. As a mother of queer and neurodivergent children, Terri is deeply motivated to support LGBTQIA youth, particularly in the context of the LDS community. She advocates for those striving to build meaningful relationships with deity while embracing their authentic selves.

Jen Dille is a bossy oldest child so she decided to monetize that by becoming a project manager. She works for the Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) and loves to learn more about different religions and wisdom literature. With Clare, she organizes a monthly Ally Night and the AZ Gather/All conference. When she’s not kayaking or hiking, she’s unsuccessfully trying to beat her husband at board and video games.

Michael S.C. Soto serves as the President of Equality Arizona, the state's oldest and leading statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization. Michael has decades of history with Equality Arizona in many roles, from intern and volunteer to the chief executive officer. Michael, once again, leads Equality Arizona so that this 30-year-old organization can provide a sustainable and inclusive political home for LGBTQ+ Arizonans and our allies.
